We were in Kingston for a visit and wanted to grab a drink in the afternoon. I had been here years ago and wanted to go again. We were greeted when we went in and chose a table. Our server Thalia was excellent. Friendly and attentive to our needs. We each had a couple of drinks and my husband has wings. It is in a historic building downtown and the atmosphere is great.
Super beautiful place! Feel like we are in a pub in Scotland! The food is de-li-cious, full pf flavors and the plates are big!

It was a very cold and windy evening, we scored a parking spot close to City Hall where we would be sure to many fine dining places to choose from for dinner. We walked in and instantly felt the warmth and inviting atmosphere chose a nice cozy table in the front room. First time guest might admire antiquities and elegantly crafted copper ceiling panels. With rising prices of things these days it’s become a challenge to find a restaurant that will make you feel comfortable satisfy your cravings and get your money’s worth where a business values its customers; Tir Na Nog Pub (beautifully appointed heritage building and popular local landmark Prince George Hotel), is one of those rare establishments that maintains its original reputation offering classic pub fare, generous portions of delicious and well prepared dishes, (many excellent vegetarian options ) our friendly and courteous waiter, Mike, made certain every thing was perfect . Business travellers will be delighted to find a menu that will appeal to every taste and seat every guest comfortably.
We went to the first karaoke night, and wow we got the bacon poutine. It was delicious, drinks were size vs price appropriate. The music was great so many talented people.

This old school Irish pub is a great place to chill. We got the table in the front beside the bar. The bartender was very friendly and funny. He made sure we were comfortable and shared some laughs with us. The food was also good. We got a Mushroom and beef pie and Grilled Cheese with jalapeno and banana peppers. It’s located right in the downtown so you can walk around and have a good time there.
We had a reunion dinner for 35 people on Friday night. Manager Gary Cork met with us several weeks ago and through that meeting and continued correspondence came up with a fantastic menu of 11 or 12 dishes for our group. And the result was fantastic. There were numerous compliments on the quality of the service and the meals. No one seems to have left hungry. People had a great time and uniformly expressed their delight. Much appreciated
